We are pleased to announce our always popular social event calendar

JULY 11th – A talk by John Day.

John runs the East Anglian Art Centre in Wickham Market. The centre’s objective is to celebrate the Norwich School of painters and East Anglian Artists from 1750 -1950. (Constable and Gainsborough are just two of the artists)

JULY 18th “A Clever Little Woman”

An imagined interview with Millicent Fawcett, a politician’s wife, a mother, an author and a leading member of the Suffragists. The interview will explore her life in changing world of England at the end of the Victorian era. Not to be missed. Performed by Jill Hubbard and Sheila Sorely.

JULY 25th “Dementia”

Someone in the world will be diagnosed with dementia every 3 minutes” This is a sobering thought, but the subject is one that concerns us all. Come and hear A talk by Sharon Cuthbert (Leiston Dementia Project Officer}
