Sirapite in steam Sirapite will be in steam for the Open Day (31 March) and the Final Fling (21 October). There will be other days when she is in steam, so please phone (01728 832 189) for further information.

Saturday 18 February : 7.30 p.m. Illustrated talk on the glass industry 1840-1940 by Barrie Skelcher

£10 incl. buffet supper (bring your own drink)

Wednesday 22 February 9.30 a.m. - 11.00 a.m. : Volunteer pre-season catch-up (tea supplied). Open to old, new and interested volunteers to find out about plans for next season and the progress of the restoration project.

11.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon : There will be an opportunity for you to review the shop procedures

Saturday 31 March : FREE Open Day 10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Sunday 9th September : Heritage Open Day - A closer look at the Long Shop restoration. Guided tours looking at the details of the restoration of a Grade II* listed buliding.

Sunday 21 October  10.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. : End of season steam event ("Final Fling"). Sirapite and other engines in steam. (Normal museum prices apply.)
