As British Summertime draws to a close, we will be holding our annual Beer Festival. turning up the heat with a fabulous weekend of engines in steam, a carefully selected array of fantastic real ales and some toe-tapping tunes to keep you entertained after hours.It’s fantastic location, the fine beer and entertainment make it the most atmospheric beer festival you’re ever likely to find !
We are delighted to be working in partnership with CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale as well as showcasing some great musicians on Saturday evening to help turn the Long Shop into a veritable ‘Cathedral of Sound’.
The festival kicks off from 6pm on Friday night, and at the same time on Saturday, until 11pm on both evenings. On Sunday it opens at 11am and will finish at 4pm, all ample time togive revelers a chance to sample some of the fifteen different high quality ales, ciders and wines selected by the Ipswich branch of CAMRA. On Saturday it opens at 11am, with full day of exciting sounds, sights, tastes and smells, not least through the hiss and rumble engines in full steam.

There will be an open mic session during the day and to whet your appetite further, some scrumptious refreshments hot and cold, savoury and sweet, to keep you fortified.
