time to the 1940s!
On Sunday 19th May 2019 come and see wartime re-enactors, try your hand at being in the Home Guard, see displays about life at home and abroad during the war, try your hand at a range of activities, see unique retro and military vehicles, check out some great vintage stalls and tuck into refreshments from our BBQ and pop-up cafe with tea and home-made cake galore (no rations here)!
Find out what was happening at ‘the factory closest to Germany’ during the war, see engines in steam and displays from other local museums and airfields. Plus the Royal Norfolk Regiment re-enactment groups and don’t forget to check out the children’s activities – including a Morrison shelter!
Visitors are welcome to don their 40’s finery and allied uniform and dance the day away Nicky Kirby with her 1940s dance classes!
No need to book – just come along!
The admission price for this event will be £8 for adults, £6 for young people (aged 16-21) and £4 for children.
All tickets include free access to the Museum for a year (excluding special events)
