Join in the fun with your family at our Workshop Wednesdays and explore a variety of scientific topics through exciting experiments and interactive activities!
Our third afternoon of the season is an exploration of our very own unusual museum objects and artefacts. From dangerous Victorian items, cabinets of curiosities, and bug hunting, there’s plenty of hands on activities and crafts to make and take, and fun for all ages!
There’s plenty to see at the museum to keep everyone entertained, from fascinating local history exhibits to colouring and games for younger visitors in our “Coglets Corner”. Light refreshments are available on-site during the afternoon or at a range of lovely, local outlets nearby. Or, bring your own picnic to enjoy in our wonderful garden.
1.00pm to 4.00pm. Activities suitable for children aged 5-12 (Under-fives area available in the museum). No need to book/All materials supplied. Activities may differ to those listed above.
Free parking. All activities included with normal admission price. Re-admission passes accepted for this activity – pay once return free for a year (excluding special events).
